What we believe

Find out what we believe about . . .

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:5-6)

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate source of truth. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe salvation is available to anyone who believes in Jesus. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Water Baptism

The Scripture teaches that all who repent and believe in Christ are to be baptized by immersion (Matthew 28:19). Baptism is a public profession of faith in Christ. It is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. It is a declaration to the world that we have died to sin and have been raised with Christ to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His ascension, (Luke 24:49) to empower the church for life and service (Acts 1:8).

The church is the Body of Christ, a local community of believers, unified through faith in Christ Jesus.  It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands.  The church seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. Every believer is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of Christ. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-28)
